But the massive amounts of money being directed to Iraq must be coming from somewhere and taking money from something else. Wouldn’t that much money leaving the US be a bigger hit on the economy than a storm in Texas?

I’ve noticed a lot of money is being raised by the presidential candidates this year. Barack Obama, himself, raises close to $1M per day. So, I’m curious to know what is done with the extra money that was raised by a presidential candidate after the nomination is made? I know that a decent amount is used for advertising, paying the staff, etc. Do they pocket the left over money? Or is it allocated to some other sector of the government?

I’m owed thousands in back child support, and never received anything. My daughters father will finally be going to a State prison for numerous felonys, and I was just wondering how much money I can expect to make while he’s in there. Even $10 per month is better than nothing at all.
